Western Himalaya Vikalp Sangam welcomes you to a talk and discussion on ‘Climate Crisis and Western Himalaya’, which probes into the current global climate crises caused by the paradigm of destructive development and starts a dialogue on what this means for the already bioregion of Western Himalaya.  


The speaker is Mr. Soumya Dutta, co-convener of South Asian People’s Action on Climate Crisis (SAPACC), the trustee of Movement for Advancing Understanding on Sustainability And Mutuality (MAUSAM), the executive member of Friends of the Earth-India, the trustee/board member of GreenPeace-India Environment Trust, the convener of Bharat Jan Vigyan Jatha (BJVJ) and the founding members of India-Climate-Justice (ICJ).
