The Rapid Tree Survey can be used to collect data on trees lining a road or in a colony or near a school. If students/ residents are taken out on tree walks, they can fill up the rapid tree survey. Or students can survey trees in their neighbourhood. In this way we can get the condition of roadside trees from many parts of the city. They can be collated later. Or the concerned authorities can be informed about the plight of trees and the need to take remedial actions. If such data is collected the trends over several years can be recorded.
